Red Fez in Providence

The atmosphere is a bit dark but it is nice. The sweet potato burger is incredible. It could be the best burger I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit.

Loved our bartender Mike! We had a good time talking with him and his drinks were delish! The Cabana Boy is a must try. Can't wait to go back again and try the food menu!

An absolute delightful place, the quirky décor gave it that extra special something. The atmosphere was great and the staff really friendly. My friend assured me that the mac and cheese she had was top notch too.I recommend anyone to visit the Red Fez when in Providence.

Small bar in downtown Providence. Easy walk from the mall or to PPAC. Great food and excellent service. Limited beer and wine options but fun cocktails to make up for it. The place is tiny, so not recommended for groups.

I was recommended to check out the Red Fez by a friend from Providence and I'm so glad I did! We came here for after dinner drinks and were seated at the bar on the second floor. They serve food in the main dining room on the first floor and in the second floor bar/restaurant. The second floor had more of the atmosphere we were looking for, which was a late night crowd and a funky bar setting. I ordered the Pop Bunny cocktail which was made with blueberry elderflower and cucumber vodka. All I can say is yummy! I'm going to try to recreate the recipe at home. In addition to an excellent cocktail menu, I read through the dinner menu and made a note to return for dinner the next time I'm in the area. The general feel was elevated pub food with some unique ingredients. Our bartender was really great and even helped us with some tips on local spots to check out on our trip. If I lived in the area I would make this my regular spot for a drink. I'll be back, Red Fez!

Let’s start with there’s a picture of Laura Palmer on the wall behind the bar. I was so happy to find this place. It is kind of tucked away near a more rowdy bar and across from a parking structure. Inside, it is very dark and cozy, which is my favorite vibe. If you go off-peak you can find a seat in one of the booths or at the bar. The drinks are fantastic and the food is delicious- their poutine has a rich sausage based sauce not your standard gravy- so good. I would totally recommend going for an after dinner treat or for a nightcap.

Nifty little place with great food on an eclectic menu. Good brutal sprouts, great mac and cheese. The bulgogi sandwich and the tacos are good as well.

I've been going to the Red Fez for a while now; food is great, but the ambiance is the real draw. Staff is always super friendly and prices are very reasonable. Definitely try the poutine.

Cozy and dimly lit bar that offers good drinks, draft beer and a small but interesting and delicious menu. On my last visit I had the tacos and the chickpeas and both were great.

Kale Caesar is my go-to. So delicious!

Fantastic food, very friendly and helpful wait staff, and a cool environment. Was a little hard to find but once you know where it is it is easy to find again. Ended up going here on the suggestion of a few different strangers while visiting Providence. Was very glad that they recommended it! My girlfriend is vegetarian and did not realize her meal contained meat but the wait staff was more than happy to let her change her order and did not charge us. Very accommodating. Will be back soon!

Awesome place all around. The staff was helpful, the bar and dining was clean and the atmosphere was very unique, almost reminding me of an old timely bar, but with a modern twist. The food was fantastic (the poutine is to die for). Will definitely be coming back here, hopefully very soon.

Red Fez is wonderful for a bite to eat or a casual drink. They make a killer Bloody Mary with the perfect amount of heat. Seating is available upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs feels very cozy, but if you're grossed out by taxidermy you might want to stick to downstairs. The sweet potato veggie burger is amazing and unique. The prices are pretty good, but a lot of dishes don't come with sides so take that into account when you're ordering.

Lovely spot! Cute, quirky decor. AMAZING food & service. I slightly prefer the ambiance of the upstairs more, but the entire place is great. I got the sweet potato burger & mac-n-cheese. Both were to die for! Nice selection of beers, wine & cocktails. I will definitely be marking this for a place to return to often.

My go to for the lovely, arty, friendly, hip (but in a good way) restaurant/pub. Food is really good and the ambience makes it a 6 star.

While I like the kitsch decor, the place has never been bright enough for my liking. I know that sounds like knit-picking, but they have a weird menu that seems to fluctuate randomly. Weird food in a dark room is no fun for me. Try eating crabs in chili sauce when you can't see your plate in front of you. No fun. But, hey; that's me.

Came here bc I saw good reviews. Was by myself at the bar. Good food. Good people. My type of people. It feels like home. Would I come here again? You bet. I didn't have any fancy drinks, but they sure looked good. The food was great. I had dinner here, and would definitely recommend it. Sat next to a guy from Brown who told me a hit the jackpot by coming here.

I love when there are vegan options on the menue, and deer heads hanging from the wall! This hipster pit is full of, RISD trust fund kids, twirled mustaches, and irony. I would pay anyone $20 to walk in with a MAGA hat on, and ask for a Budweiser.

Cocktail list is impressive and creative! Food was comforting and delicious, loved the inclusions of the traditional Portuguese ingredients found in Rhode Island history. I left full and happy

Unfortunately, my first time here happened to be it's last day open but I had a wonderful time. The sweet potato burger with jalapenos really hit the spot. Their cocktails were pretty good as well.
